The Restaurant at Vahine Island

The complete Continental breakfast, enhanced with
local and "house" specialties, such as Mango Marmalade, Vanilla
Yogurt with locally produced vanilla, fresh tropical fruit
salad, prepared by our master chef. American
Breakfast is also available, including fresh fruit
salad, fruit juice, fresh croissants and bread, fresh home
made cakes and jams, and vanilla yogurts, omelet or any style
eggs, a selection of cereals, tea and coffee.
Lunch on the beach facing the lagoon, light
refreshing fare, served by our Tahitian Lovelies in traditional
gay floral print dresses. Lunches include a large selection
of fresh salads, grilled fish and meat, sandwiches, or fresh
pasta, marinated fish or fish tartar, desserts.
In the evening, our restaurant beckons with refined and romantic candlelight dinners. The diversity of
offerings and subtle art of a local and French cuisine synthesis,
in addition to the excellent wine menu, has garnered our "table"
an outstanding reputation. Our gastronomic dinner offering a selection of two starters, two main courses
and two deserts.
We also offer a vegetarian menu on request.
This request should be mentioned upon booking so we can provide
you with a better selection of products.
Half Board
Half board (breakfast and dinner) is offered for 63€ (7500 CFP) before taxes, per person, per day.

• Tuna sashimi with local berries, pickled cabbage and fresh coriander
• Crispy shrimp/prawn, with tender baby vegetables in coconut milk
• Mahi Mahi steak, flavoured with Tahaa vanilla, served with Igname (a local root vegetable) chips
• Salmon of the Gods, tagliatelle of vegetables wrapped in banana leaf
• Farm-raised chicken, stuffed with pota (a green leafy vegetable) and creamy curry and coconut sauce
• Almond tender cake with roasted mangoes and cinnamon honey
• Chocolate chip pralines in blanc manger coco
• Paper-thin pineapple wedges with taro root ice cream |
The Bar
The bar - a unique example of Polynesian artistry: an assortment of exotic woods (the floor is a mosaic of Aito, or Ironwood; coconut trunks and bamboo) volcanic stones from Tahaa- is open all day for your pleasure.
Our barman is happy to introduce you to a fine selection of original cocktails and delightful flavours mixed from local fresh fruit juices and Polynesian spirits.
